In this role, you will actively participate in classroom activities, offer personalised support to pupils, and contribute to fostering a positive learning environment.

**About the school**

This school aims to develop a love of learning, inspired by quality **Teaching Assistants** by building and developing upon all of its individual talents. This warm and welcoming **'Good' school** is based in the heart of **Rochdale.**

The competitive pay rate for this position is between **£76 and £85 per day**, depending on experience. This position will **commence after February half-term** on a **full-time** basis. You will be required for the rest of the academic year with the possibility of extension.

**About you**

The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for the progress and attainment of a high achieving **KS1/KS2** class. In addition to this, you will work collaboratively with the class teacher and support the academic attainment of child with additional needs on and one-to-one basis.

**Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Assist teachers in delivering lessons, managing classroom activities, and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Provide one-on-one support to pupils with learning challenges, ensuring their understanding of the curriculum
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, including setting up equipment and organising resources for lessons
- Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
- Work effectively as a team player with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources and best practice

- Excellent references to support previous experience in KS1/KS2_ _
- A CV that covers the last 10 years employment history with any CV gaps explained
