We now have an exciting new role for an outstanding **Senior Membership & Adoptions assistant**, reporting to the Membership Supervisor.

We’re looking for someone who can:

- Provide excellent customer service when Selling membership and adoptions face to face with customers in order to meet our annual sales targets.
- Support the daily running of the membership & adoptions office.
- Check and secure cash taken through the till, following office opening & lock up procedures.
- Monitor literature & stock and assist in submitting orders with external suppliers.
- Assist in the training of new staff to ensure all aspects of the job role are understood and procedures are carried out correctly.
- Action data correction reports related to missed direct debit payments, membership category changes and more.
- Assisting in the planning and implementing of new ideas for promoting and improving membership and adoption sales.

**Our Requirements
- Have a good standard of education, including a GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills both written and verbal.
- Be a competent user of Microsoft Office software particularly Outlook, Word, Teams & Excel.
- Have previous administration and data input experience.
- Have knowledge and/or experience of direct debit payment processes.
- Be able to judge situations and use initiative to resolve issues effectively.
- Have customer facing sales experience in a fast paced environment.
- Have till and cash handling experience.
- Ability to work well within a team and with mínimal supervision.

**Although not essential, the following would be desirable**:

- Effective complaint handling experience.
- Experience working with a CRM or system.
