**Why this role is important to us**
This is a rare opportunity to be an integral part of a fully in-house UK payroll service for a large forward-thinking FTSE 50 global organisation. You will be involved in a host of payroll items, from looking at new benefits and company policies; from working on confidential mergers and acquisitions to advising on changes to maternity legislation - and everything in between.
This role would be a definite boost to any Payroll Professionals career looking for more experience within a large organisation.
**Work that matters, what you'll doing..**
The main body of the role is ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time in line with statutory legislation and company policy.
- ** Meeting Payroll’s primary objective of paying employee’s on time and accurately**
- You will work along side the Payroll team, to ensure deliver on accuracy and time efficiency while ensuring controls are maintained, captured and costs are accurate.
- Also supporting in the production of the payroll each month along with the associated reporting in line with relevant procedures.
- ** Effective control, governance and management to ensure compliance with statutory legislation**
- You will ensure controls and procedures are in place and maintained to meet statutory deadlines and legislation, keeping on top of any legislation changes, while acting as a key contact and support for the business
- ** Supporting payroll and the business by providing analysis and ad-hoc reporting on a timely basis**:
- ** Team with the business in implementing top level business changes to workable system and process solutions for payroll**
**Qualifications**:
**What you’ll need to bring to the role & Experian**
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and able to gain clear agreement from others through persuasion, negotiation and promotion of ideas
- Good knowledge of statutory legislation relating to PAYE, National Insurance and Statutory Payments
- Experience of processing items related company pension schemes, and current legislation with regards to Payroll and Pensions
- knowledge of employment law where this impacts on payroll
- Ability to understand complex company, employment and benefits policies

- Knowledge of Oracle HRMS & Payroll processes
- Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Reporting (OBIEE)
- Basic to Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge and experience (MS Excel)
