Pipefitter/supervisor

Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes
- Assemble and install a variety of pipes, fittings, and fixtures such as valves and pumps
- Join pipes using techniques such as soldering, welding, or brazing
- Test plumbing systems for leaks using air or water pressure gauges
- Install supports and hangers for pipes, fixtures, and equipment
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient and effective installation of plumbing systems
- Maintain accurate records of work performed

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pipefitter or in a similar role
- Proficient in building, soldering, welding (including Stick welding), and plumbing techniques
- Strong knowledge of basic math skills for measuring and cutting pipes accurately
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and find appropriate solutions
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain high-quality workmanship standards
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
