**FIT UK Training and** **Education Ltd** is a well-established, and growing training provider. We currently have an opportunity for someone to start immediately to deliver the **Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship** **Standard** and related short courses. If you are an experienced Practitioner who has successfully supported learners to achieve Teaching Assistant certified programmes at Level 2 and 3, or have similar skills and experience then we would love to hear from you

**Requirements**:
**Essentials**
- Previous teaching/Teaching Assistant experience is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Minimum Level 2 in Maths & English or GCSE grade C/4 or above.
- L3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or Qualified Teacher status

**Desirables**
- Teaching Assistant Trainer should hold a minimum of Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or have qualified Teacher status, to deliver support sessions and take a learner through gateway
- Proven record of ability to manage time and work to strict deadlines.
- Evidence of experience of working within a school environment either as a Teaching Assistant or qualified Teacher.
- DBS clearance will be required, preferably on the update scheme, but not essential.
- Good digital skills

**The role involves**:

- Visiting placements
- Liaising with placement staff
- Assessing competence in the setting
- Setting SMART targets via 12-week reviews
- Monitoring progress
- Managing a diary of visits
- Attending regular team meetings and training

The role is for a peripatetic trainer and will require a full driving licence with your own transport to visit the various sites and deliver the programme to individual and/or small groups of learners. Travel costs are paid at 0.25p per mile after the first 20 miles.

Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
