About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist for one of our main hubs Farnborough HQ. You will undertake a range of reception duties across the business always presenting a positive image of QinetiQ and ensuring that processes and procedures are followed.

What will you be doing?

Providing reception service and assistance to, internal and external customers.

Administration of complex visitor bookings, including groups. Providing support to groups of visitors, i.e. booking onto site, using standard procedures and in line with health and safety and security requirements.

Sending and receiving mail or goods using standard security and safety procedures.

Archiving and/or filing selecting the appropriate storage method. Retrieval of information as required.

Photocopying, printing, shredding etc. in accordance with health and safety instructions.

What do I need?

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience within a reception/customer service role. You will have good working knowledge around Microsoft Word and Outlook. You are a highly organised individual with great attention to detail.

Demonstrate understanding of the concepts of the Business Administration Services and has awareness of other business areas.

Provide informal support for colleagues with less experience.

Ensure quality of output from self, and others where appropriate.

Identify issues within own remit and use standard practice to resolve where appropriate.

Communicate and exchange information using tact and diplomacy.
