You will need to wow us with your positive attitude, conversation skills and safe driving ability and in return we will provide you with all the training and support you will need to succeed in your new role.
**Getting your PCV licence**
Following a successful job offer we will send you for a medical appointment and help you fill in your forms to the DVLA. We will then provide you with all the study materials you will need for passing the theory tests.
On passing your theory we will bring you into our driving school where you will be given the required practical experience and confidence for your final test.
**On qualifying as a Bus Driver**
Once you have completed your practical test we will pair you with a mentor who will assist you in settling into your new role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers warmly and ensuring they have a safe and pleasant journey, receiving the most suitable ticket for their needs.
- Ensuring your vehicle is driven safely, including completing vehicle safety checks.
**What do I need to apply?**
- Full UK driving licence with at least 1 years' experience and no more than 3 points.
- Available to work full time shift work which may include; early mornings, late evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Be passionate about providing outstanding levels of customer service at all times.
- Be able to stay calm under pressure and make on the spot decisions.

After gaining a years’ experience (or if working rest days) you will receive another increase to a full driver wage of **£11.60**.
