Senior DevOps Engineer

We are helping our client based in Horsham to scale their technical team with a Senior DevOps Engineer who wants to work within a collaborative teamand can add value across multiple workstreams within the business.

**About you **
- As a Senior Engineer, you will be well versed in coaching and mentoring more junior members of the team.
- AWS is essential for this role so you will be proficient in a range of services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Serverless.. Kubernetes and Terraform are also required.
- You have an inquisitive nature and want to constantly develop your skills.
- You believe the best way to really understand technical capabilities is to break things to build them back up, or you just like designing your own solutions.

**About the role..**
- You will be implementing build automation, continuous integration and delivery improvements as you go. You will also be providing live service support to those services and maintaining excellent site reliability.
- Building and support cloud infrastructure
- Designing and scripting to deliver true IaC in support of concurrent projects
- Performing system deployment and upgrading efforts of varying size and complexity
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for agile teams working on various programmes
- Using your practical experience to advise on and implement best practice in support of project delivery and operational improvements

**About the tech..**
- Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, design and security such as AWS/Azure
- Background of Scripting in PowerShell and Python
- Experience Maintaining currency and patches on a cloud environment
- Integration and delivery process and tools, AWS/Azure DevOps is diserable
- Understanding of IaC modular design
- Background of releasing orchestration tools and observability tools
