Greentown are seeking to recruit a full-time, temporary, Finance Officer to provide maternity leave cover, for a minimum period of 6 months. The successful applicant will be based in Greentown’s busy Head Office, located in Florencecourt, Co Fermanagh, typically working Monday to Friday, 9-5.

Applicants to this role should possess the following:

- 3 GCSEs, Grades A-C, (or equivalent), to include English Language and Maths

**and**
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a finance and admin role

Applicants must possess excellent organisational skills, have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as under pressure, and also have good communication skills.

**Main Role**

The post holder will work closely with the Office Manager and Finance Manager to support the financial functional of both Greentown businesses. Ensuring it is met, through accurate and timely invoicing of customers, the accurate and timely reimbursement to Greentown suppliers, and ensuring that records of all financial transactions are maintained.

**Main duties and responsibilities**

The post holder will:

- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers and suppliers, to support the financial and transactional aspect of both Greentown business.
- Manage the Purchase Order system which operates across both Greentown Companies, ensuring that an accurate record of all purchases for both Companies is available and that each has been coded correctly.
- Assign Po’s to invoices (Daily)
- Be the one point of contact for all purchases and acquisition of PO’s for GTE & GTM daily.
- Process the accurate and timely payment to suppliers for all purchases, ensuring that the Greentown Companies meet the targets laid down in the _UK Prompt Payment Practices._
- Reconciling supplier statements to sage and chasing up any anomalies (monthly)
- Distribute supplier remittances after payment has been made (monthly)
- Ensure the information on supplier invoices/statements is consistent with that on the relevant Purchase Order and is coded appropriately to facilitate financial analysis of each Greentown Company’s expenditure.
- Investigate any anomalies identified on the Purchase Ordering system, working with the relevant Manager to resolve the issues, and where necessary report any concerns to the Office Manager and Finance Manager.
- Working with the Office Manager, with the Environmental Operations Manager and the Traffic Management Operations Managers, to ensure the accurate and timely invoicing of clients and customers for services provided or work undertaken.
- Invoicing assigned list of clients (Weekly/monthly & ad hoc)
- In conjunction with Office Manager Invoice all closed jobs list from work pal & archive.
- Process all payments made to both Greentown Companies, ensuring that records are updated accordingly
- Intercompany invoicing GTE to GTM (weekly) Labour, fuel etc.
- Work closely with the Office Manager and relevant Operations Manager to ensure that any late payments by clients, or customers, are managed in an effective manner, and where necessary this matter raised to the Finance Manager and General Manager.
- Assist Office Manager with debt management, statement to all clients on 1stworking day of new month. (Monthly)
- Support the Office Manager and the Finance Manager to produce regular financial and ad hoc reports.
- Perform general office tasks, including deputising for absent colleagues, answering phones, maintaining adequate stock of stationary, and other administrative duties as necessary.

**Essential Criteria**
- 3 GCSEs, Grades A-C, (or equivalent), to include English Language and Maths.
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience working in a finance and admin role.

- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of IT systems.
- Good organisational skills.
