**An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading providers of pet services. Based at Greenacres Pet Crematorium we are now looking to recruit an Aftercare Advisor to join our experienced crematorium team.**

Within this role you will be working as part of a team, but also predominantly by yourself. We require someone with empathy, strong communication skills and a proven track record of excellent customer service.

This is a part time position (24 hours per week), working the below:

- 9:30 - 16.00 (Mon/Tues/Weds/Thurs)
- 6.5 hours daily with a 30minute Lunch

**Responsibilities include**:

- Receive telephone calls from and making telephone calls to pet owner to make arrangement for the cremation of pets
- Taking payment for the cremation of pets
- Responding to enquiries/queries from general public and veterinary clients
- Maintaining a record of calls and financial transactions on Company systems
- Attending to pet owners visiting the crematorium in person
- Preparing pets for viewing
- Handling pets in a respectful and dignified manner
- Assisting with the packing, checking and return of pets' ashes
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
