My client is looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the night team. We provide a warm and friendly environment where you can feel valued and supported as an employee and know you are making a huge difference to improvethe quality of life for others.

My client will continue to develop your clinical skills and give opportunites for career progression. You will inspire staff to provide high quality standards of care and support to our residents.

This truly beautiful rural home is a 50-beded dual registered Nursing and Residential home.

**Main duties and Responsibilities**:

- To be aware of the social and medical needs of each resident.
- To take responsibility for those care plans by assessing, implementing and evaluating each resident medical, psychological and social needs on a regular basis or as needs change and as the Company Policies and Procedures indicates.
- To lead and supervise a team of health care assistants in carrying out their roles and responsibilities.
- To participate in appropriate learning and practice activities that maintains and develops your competence and performance.
- To undertake drug rounds at prescribed times - ensuring sufficient drugs are available for following 24 hours.
- To carry out nursing procedures as necessary; which may include Venepuncture, blood glucose monitoring, blood pressure measurement, temperature measurement, urine testing, Catheterisation and wound management.
- To take charge of the home in the absence of the Home Manager and the Deputy Manager.
