An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the administration team of the Wales Fertility Institute.

The post holder will be expected to cover all aspects of reception and administration duties in a fast paced clinic.

You should possess excellent communication, organisation skills and be methodical in your approach. You should be self-motivated, driven and be proactive as it is a fast paced environment where multitasking is essential.

You should have a good standard of education, be confident when using computer systems, and have good keyboard and IT skills.

You should have excellent interpersonal skills to work in what is a highly confidential and sensitive clinic.

You will be an effective team player who works well under pressure, is efficient, helpful and has a friendly manner when dealing with members of the public, colleagues and other service users.

There are two permanent full time posts on offer, working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday. Band holiday cover will be required on a rota basis. Predominantly this post will be in Neath Port Talbot hospital however cross site working will be required to cover staff absence.

Booking patients into clinics,

Outcoming appointments

Registering patients on electronic consenting platform

Taking payments from fee paying patients

Pulling patient files ahead of clinics

Prepping patient files ahead of clinics

Answering the telephone - answering queries, taking messages

Opening, processing and distributing daily mail

Photocopying

Ensure that processes are adhered to and achieved within set targets as laid down in departmental standard operating procedures.

Copy/audio typing of letters and reports.

Filing

Record Keeping

General office duties as and when required.
