Can you help and deliver education support to children with challenging behaviour?

Do you have experience of supporting pupils with Social, Emotional Mental Health needs?

**The successful applicant will**:
Have experience supporting individuals with additional needs, in particular; mental health, emotional and behaviour difficulties
Have some experience in a school setting as a TA / support staff
Be confident and able to manage behaviour of challenging pupils
Experience in youth work

School can have a very positive impact on a child's life when they are dealing with other issues which they may not fully understand. It is vital teachers and support staff value and support struggling pupils so that they can develop well and go onto positive journeys following year 11. Pupils need a caring and attentive mentor who they know have their best interests at heart.

**Day to day duties will include**:
Supporting pupils with self-esteem and confidence
Set engaging tasks the pupil will enjoy doing whilst following the curriculum
Manage challenging behaviour
Ensuring pupils feel safe and valued
Providing opportunities for academic, social and emotional development within a safe and secure learning environment
Deliver 1-2-1 support to ensuring students mental health is looked after

This is a very rewarding job and you will have the opportunity to earning up to £350 per week.
