We are on the lookout for a talented and passionate Content Creator to join our dynamic team. If you’re a creative and enthusiastic individual ready to start your career in content writing, we’re looking for an ambitious Content Creator to join our fantastic marketing team.

Our small and friendly Marketing team at The Banner Group is responsible for creating all the exciting collateral used to support the wider business. We work on big projects including but not limited to; rebranding, new product launches, and photoshoots, as well as working on annual outputs like our brochures and Back to School campaigns.

Working across both wholesale and retail sides of the group, your role will be to provide written content across various projects that engage our audiences with the right language and tone of voice while staying consistent with our brand identity. Within this exciting role, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your content writing skills and make a huge impact on the business.

**Let’s take a look at your tasks**:

- Provide written content for all marketing collateral including brochures, posters, Point of Sale, and presentations.
- Write and update website content across wholesale and retail sites.
- Plan, write, and publish regular content to our LinkedIn account.
- Contribute to planning sessions within the marketing team and wider project groups.
- Liaise with our Digital Marketing Specialist to plan and execute engaging communications.
- Be the first contact for editorial opportunities with industry publications.
- Proofread and amend content ready for sign-off from key stakeholders.
- Lead on the content for our industry newsletter ‘Insight Magazine’
- Contribute to our quarterly internal magazine ‘The Buzz’ with fun articles.

**Skills and attributes**:

- Excellent spelling and grammar skills.
- Attention to detail so you can spot a typo from a mile away
- Able to work to deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes, especially Microsoft Word.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- An eagerness to learn and share new ideas.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Familiarity with writing for B2C and B2B audiences and different platforms.

**You will also play a crucial role in our sustainability efforts**:

- Reduce electricity usage by turning off unused lights and electronic equipment.
- Where possible, bring reusable water bottles to work.
- Ensure the responsible use of water to minimise wastage.
- Follow our recycling processes closely.

**Your working week will look like this**:
This is a 39 hour per week contract. Our working days are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm, with no weekend work. Unusually for a wholesale business, we finish at 3 pm on a Friday during our off-peak season.

The role offers a hybrid working model. Typically, our team works from the office on Tuesdays and optionally on Thursdays giving us a chance to catch up, collaborate, and maintain the positive spirit our team is known for
