As a Service Manager at Autism Initiatives, you will experience a rewarding and worthwhile career. We are currently seeking a manager who also has the ability to lead and manage a day opportunities service in Belfast.

You will report to the Area Manager and focus on providing and achieving operational management of the service, ensuring ongoing compliance with contractual requirements. As a manager you will promote and embed a culture of responsibility and commitment to the role, you will also motivate staff to complete ongoing professional development ensuring they maintain their drive and enthusiasm for the job.

You will be required to refund the Access NI cost of £33.00 to Autism Initiatives if you leave your employment within six months of your commencement date.

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Relevant Health or Social Care professional qualification; or Level 5 Diploma (QCF5) in Leadership for Health and Social Care services (Adults Management); or other relevant Diploma/Degree/Post-Graduate qualification in Management and Leadership in Health and Social Care, or related area.
- Have the qualifications and required experience to be able to meet RQIA criteria to be a Registered Manager of a Domiciliary service; or be in a position to register as Registered Manager when taking up appointment.
- At least one year’s experience of supporting people who have ASC, communication difficulties and associated complex needs.
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 1 year.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
- Flexibility and resilience: The ability to meet the changing needs of service/service users.

- NISCC registration or working towards this
- Knowledge of Supporting People Quality Assessment Framework
- Ability to show compassion, enthusiasm, empathy and warmth
- Able to work effectively in partnership with service users, families, colleagues, and other professionals.
