**Overview of the Role**

Reporting to the manager of the Isle of Wight Foodbank, the PR Co-Ordinator will play a vital role within the organisation, ensuring that the Foodbank is well represented in the press and social media as well as at local events, empowering people in poverty and the projects that help them to tell their own stories.

We are looking for someone with the technical knowledge to put together eyecatching media, press releases and briefing and the ability to create opportunities and react quickly to events. Passion and enthusiasum or tackling poverty and the ability to keep a level head during a crisis are also a must.
