A globally recognised clean energy provider based near Guildford is currently seeking a Commissioning Technician.

The Commissioning Technician will be responsible for ensuring that generators (zero emission generators) are inspected, tested, and commissioned in accordance with company operating standards.

**Electrical Engineer Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Carry out checks as defined in the Inspection Sheets, perform tests according to defined procedures
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and associated control systems and power circuits, power generating equipment, switchgear, and emergency systems; take appropriate action when failures occur
- Collect test data and provide information to Manufacturing Engineer
- Report without delay on any issues during inspection to the line manager
- Work with Manufacturing Engineer to create comprehensive reports
- Advise line manager and detail quality issues and corrective actions that may be required to be taken
- Undertake and complete additional tasks, as assigned by the line manager

**Electrical Engineer Experience and Qualifications required**:

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location, and operation of the system(s)
- Knowledge of report writing and records maintenance
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Technical school certifications or degrees preferred

**Package**: £30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits
