Shop Assistant

We have an opportunity to join our small, friendly team at Catherine’s Bakery, Shifnal.

We are looking for two people who can work Wednesday to Saturday (alternate Fridays off), early starts on a two week rota basis and flexible to cover holidays and sickness

**Duties**:

- Assist customers with their inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Stock shelves and replenish as needed
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Complete basic food preparation tasks
- Assist in receiving and unpacking shipments
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals

**Skills**:

- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Basic understanding of retail maths
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong organizational skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £7.79-£10.75 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
