**The opportunity**:
We are looking for someone to join our fast-paced team as an Onboarding Consultant. You’ll get a supportive and collaborative line manager and join a motivated team which works closely with the Talent Acquisition and wider UK People teams.

From day one you’ll be responsible for managing the onboarding process for new starters holding around 30-40 cases (depending on volumes of recruitment). You will own a number of practical and logístical elements of the process including but not limited to; ensuring new starters are compliant in line with the company's right to work and referencing checks, preparation of employment contracts and offer letters.

This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you may need.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Managing the end-to-end onboarding process for all new starters
- Being the main point of contact for all successful applicants during the on-boarding process
- Working to SLA’s
- Visa requests and renewals
- Liaise and maintain relationships with Hiring Managers and new starters, ensuring that any queries are responded in a timely manner
- Issuing offer letters and contracts of employment for all new starters
- Processing basic and enhanced DBS checks and ensuring their suitability for the organisation within the conviction guidelines
- Setting up new starters on the system

**Your skills and experience**:
If it isn’t already clear, this isn’t an opportunity for someone who wants the quiet life
- You must have experience of high volume administration tasks, ideally within a compliance or HR role with strong attention to detail
- You will organise like a pro and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in end to end onboarding will give you an edge
- You’re confident working with Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel,Teams and Outlook.
