Partner - Commercial Property

**Partner within Commercial Property West Wales team**

Location: Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire & Swansea with remote working
- Run their own high quality complex caseload with support from the team
- Help the Head of Department to grow and develop a high performing commercial property team
- Work collaboratively with the wider Commercial team, servicing a variety of quality commercial clients
- Develop new and existing commercial property contacts - targeting quality opportunities and maintaining excellent working relationships with local professionals such as surveyors, mortgage brokers, estate agents, banks, accountants etc.
- Integrate and become actively involved in the regional business communities.
- Actively network and raise the profile of the firm locally, attending regional functions and events.
- Demonstrate technical ability in all aspects of property, development, planning and agricultural work. Work to include sales, purchases, commercial leases of a wide variety of commercial properties and agricultural transactions, option and pre-emption agreements, conditional contracts, planning agreements, portfolio management and transfers, re-financing, development agreements and some complex and bespoke residential transactions. The types of properties include harbours, ports, quarries, industrial estates, oil refineries, retail parks, development sites, hospitality and tourist sites and farms to name a few.

This would be the ideal opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate looking to obtain a Partner-level role or an existing Partner who is looking to take their career beyond fee earning and take on a more strategic and managerial role in a thriving team.

The person is more important than their level of experience. We want a dynamic leader, who is team-orientated and passionate about developing others. You will be expected to have:

- Great interpersonal skills
- The drive to create a high-performing team
- Demonstrable knowledge and technical expertise in a varied, high volume and complex commercial property caseload.
- Excellent business development skills, with ability to cross-refer and gain new work.
- Excellent IT skills, with ability to use data management systems and the full

Microsoft Office Suite.

**Location**

We are open for this role to be based in or around Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire or Swansea. The offices include: Pembroke, Haverfordwest, Tenby, Whitland, Carmarthen and Swansea.
