Service Director

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual, to join the Women’s Secure service directorate of the West London Forensic services, based at The Orchard, St Bernard’s Hospital Ealing as Service director.

The Post has become available following the retirement of the previous Service director after a long and successful tenure in post. The post holder will be responsible for the effective over all operational management of the Women’s Secure Service, as well as providing a senior leadership role to ensure and consistently develop a safe, equitable, inclusive and high-quality service for service users, carers and staff.

The post holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of high quality clinical services to service users through the provision of effective general and operational management to clinical staff of all disciplines.

They will be expected to ensure the development of effective clinical processes/operational policies and well-functioning multi-disciplinary teams, and to ensure the effective multi-disciplinary decision-making informs the delivery of care at all stages of the assessment, treatment and aftercare process.

The post-holder will assume a lead role in any planned redevelopment of the women’s Secure Services on the current site.

The post-holder will be expected to represent the service at national and international forums relating to the development and clinical effectiveness of Forensic treatments.
