Summary

Exciting job opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide behaviour support in District 13 schools to reduce the number of pupil exclusions.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ3 or equivalent in relevant area
- At least five years’ experience of working with children aged 4-11 in an educational setting
Evidence of continuing professional development.Desirable Qualifications
- Team teach / safer handling trained
Good personal numeracy, literacy and communication skills, GCSE maths and EnglishEssential Experience
- Experience of working with children with SEND
Experience of working with children with challenging behaviours and emotional needDesirable Experience
- Experience of the preparation/identification of resources to support learning
- Experience and expertise in supporting colleagues
