Walters People: Payroll Administrator - Central Birmingham - Permanent - £25k - £30k - Hybrid
I’m currently working alongside a leading organisation in their recruitment of a Payroll Administrator on a permanent basis. You will be helping with the payroll processing of circa 7500 records and end to end control of each Payroll run.
**Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator**:
- Assist with the processing of annual pay rounds and vesting share awards
- Entering employee amendments including starters, leavers, bank detail changes, personal data, ad hoc payments/deductions, tax record amendments on the payroll system - SAP/ADP/GlobalView
- Validating and distributing BACS salary payments each month
- Producing tax information on a monthly and annual basis (P45, Real Time Information (RTI) returns, P60, P11d
- Running regular and ad hoc reports from the payroll and accounts systems for HR and external auditors. General administrative tasks such as dealing with HMRC queries, assisting HR Advisors
**About you as the Payroll Administrator**:
- Experienced volume payroller within a shared service environment with the ability to perform manual pay calculations
- Strong administrative and interpersonal skills
- Excellent multi-tasking, organisational and follow-up skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong analytic and Microsoft Excel skills
- SAP Payroll experience (desired)
