randd part of K3 Capital Group PLC. Operating from our Head Office in Derby, the company employs over 30 staff across the UK, with a focus on the East Midlands, but with clients all over the UK. K3 Capital Group plc is a growing Multi-Disciplinary and complementary group of professional Services Businesses advising UK SMEs and with some operations overseas.

We specialize in Research & Development Tax Credits, which, since 2000, is a UK government incentive to reward and encourage UK companies to invest resources in into the development of new knowledge, products, processes and technologies. randd offers it’s clients a high level service and is one of the leading providers of R&D Tax Credits in the country.

The job principally is work from home, with opportunities to work in the Derby office if required. Some days of training within the Derby office are preferred in the initial period, but training can be remote if this is not possible.

**About the Role**

As one of our Report Writers your daily duties will include:

- Interpreting information provided by clients and, if necessary, conducting independent research into the business, sector and relevant technology
- Information from clients is typically acquired through meetings, so being able to listen and transcribe recordings is useful, but other information, such a notes, drawings, photos, etc. are also provided to aid with the report
- Collating that information into a concise and informative technical document aimed at HMRC
- Liaising with the Technical Managers with queries and to receive feedback and get their approval for the document

**About You**
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own time effectively in a deadline-orientated environment
- Enjoys writing and researching
- Attention to detail
- IT literate - some experience using basic Microsoft package essential, in particular Word
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to think outside the box and creatively
- Able to take and action feedback from colleagues
- Experience of writing in a professional environment would be preferred
