Are you an expert in the Insurance industry and are looking to take your next career step?- Aviva are looking for experienced Senior Trader Underwriters to join us and be aligned to a portfolio of brokers/customers to proactively develop and profitably grow their commercial book of business within Aviva- In this Lead role you will be responsible for mentoring and coaching less experienced colleagues in writing and winning more complex, higher value business, whilst maintaining a multiclass underwriter approach when dealing end to end with brokers/customers.- Skills and experience we’re looking for:- Expert knowledge of Insurance and Commercial underwriting, experience of property & liability is essential.
- Excellent communication, listening, time management and negotiating skills.
- Analysis of risks and ability to communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers.
- Excellent business development/customer engagement skills in order to influence key contacts in the marketplace.- What you’ll get for this role:- Competitive Salary (depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
- Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
