Our client is currently looking for a Sales Assistant to join their busy school shop in Worcester Park, KT4 8QJ.

We are looking for individuals who are friendly, motivated, pro-active and keen to work in a customer focused environment.

An opportunity to work longer hours (c. 40/week) in Aug - Sept (peak period)

**Hours**: 31 per week (Mon - Thurs - 10AM - 5PM, Sat 10AM - 1PM)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50 - £11.00 per hour

**Sales Assistant Duties**:

- To consistently provide a friendly and helpful service to all customers
- Assist customers with their school uniform purchase: this includes helping with sizing, fitting and any queries
- Process sales and payments on the till accurately
- Carry out stock replenishment
- Carry out stock takes
- Product labelling and sorting
- Ensure the shop floor is tidy and well presented at all times
- Picking and packing online orders
- Working as a key member of the team by supporting colleagues in all tasks.

**Sales Assistant Requirements**:

- A positive and friendly attitude
- A positive and dynamic energy
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Willingness to learn and participate as a key team member
- Experience in a customer facing role is preferred
- Comfortable with answering telephone queries
