The White Swan, a beautiful 20-bedroom Inn just outside Arundel, West Sussex, is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join their team. With a busy summer ahead and a range of events on the horizon, they need someone who can work well under pressure and help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly at all times.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and organised, ensuring the chef has all the equipment they need and the front of house has clean cutlery and cups. You will need to be physically fit and comfortable with lifting and cleaning heavy equipment, as well as being able to prioritise your tasks and work efficiently to keep the busy kitchen team working.

**What’s essential?**

To be considered for this role, you should ideally have previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or be looking for your first role in a kitchen. You should be committed to your own professional development and willing to work hard to achieve your goals. Due to the location of the Hotel, you will most likely need your own transport, and flexibility is key as the kitchen operates seven days a week from early morning until quite late at night, including weekends and Christmas.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
