The role involves processing our client’s insurance claims, liaising with both insurance companies and our client.

You will be required to:

- Manage and handle claims from initial notification through to final settlement
- Assess clinical history with good attention to detail
- Process insurance claims with a variety of pet insurance providers
- Deal with any queries arising from the claim process
- Maintaining accurate and timely records, files, to ensure data integrity and compliance with our GDPR requirements.
- Learn and understand the insurance process for a variety of pet insurance companies
- Liaise with our clients (the policyholder) to resolve any insurance queries & notify of any insurance deductions.
- Ensure all claims are being processed within a timely manner & liaising with insurance companies to assist with this
- Liaise with our veterinary surgeons to answer & clarify queries from insurance companies

You should have:

- Clinical knowledge to assist with the completion of pet insurance claims and clinical queries - would suit a qualified RVN
- Experience in a similar claims processing or handling role is desirable
- Confidence/experience in problem solving to resolve customer and clinical queries
- Ability to work as part of a team, supporting your colleagues to deliver excellent customer service
- Excellent time management skills and ability to plan your own workload with mínimal supervision
- Good communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literate and ability to work with high accuracy and attention to detail

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
