**The Role**

This is an essential role within our day-to-day business operations. You will be a key part of our operations team while liaising with our roastery team to accurately manage and control stock levels. You will be the key team member making sure orders go out to all our customers on time and with precision.

To put you in control of this, you’ll also oversee purchasing, price negotiation and goods-in. You’ll lead the majority of our logistics, working directly with most of the team to maintain an efficient, five-star service.

We provide excellent customer experience at all levels across the business.

The role will take responsibility for buying, stock price negotiations, and contracting company resources for multiple teams. The position requires a highly organised individual with extreme attention to detail who is comfortable liaising with multiple teams but is also happy working long stretches on their own.

**Essential Skills & Traits**
- Driving is essential for this role, a full UK clean driving licence
- Customer-first approach when preparing and dispatching customer orders
- Ability to stay calm in a busy environment and work through problems logically and methodically.
- Positive attitude in continuous pursuit of improvement
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to methodically manage tasks.
- Ability to follow processes and work to strict daily deadlines.

- Accurate data input while working on multiple sourcing projects.
- Highly IT literate (will be using Excel & Sage to track stock).

**Desirable Skills & Traits**
- Logistics experience.
- Purchasing experience.
- Stock tracking experience.
- Experience with Excel & Sage Accounting Software.
- Ability to work to short, sometimes tight deadlines to get orders out.
- A love for great coffee, big-leaf teas, and the environment.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Stock price negotiation and procurement.
- Constant awareness of product options to maintain the best offering.
- Picking, checking, & packing all customer orders.
- Daily van delivery runs in the Southwest area.
- Management of the warehouse space in an efficient and clean manner.
- Driving a forklift (we will provide training)
- Contracting necessary resources for multiple teams.
- Stock tracking, rotation, & management.
- Coordinating logistics.
- Handling goods-in and goods out to comply with our Food Safety & Quality policy.
- Contributing to Risk Assessments & SOPs for the warehouse and equipment
- Integrated with the production team to maintain stock levels and efficient delivery routes

The role will be salaried, Monday to Friday.
