Access Control Trainer

Our client is a market leader in global access control & human capital management solutions since 1989.

We require a technically skilled and highly personable, customer focussed individual to be part of our technical department. Reporting to the Helpdesk Supervisor your primary focus will be to deliver high quality technically based training sessions on our Janus C4 access control product portfolio to the installer base engineers. Travel within the UK is a requirement of this role, you will deal directly with the installers and arrange your own diary. The session locations will be varied, online, our office’s (UK), training sessions including hotel, installer office & on-site. Training sessions will initially be based upon existing training setup. Working with internal departments your goal will be to develop new training collateral. Collaborate with our internal teams to continually improve the product & services.

**Key responsibilities (Include but are not limited to)**
- Delivery of high-quality technical training to the installer base engineers.Help field-based sales team with prompt response to sales quotations
- Provide feedback and make recommendations to the Product and Development teams for continuous product improvement.
- Continuously review product manuals and make recommendations to improve accuracy and quality of the documentation.
- Assist with the testing, documentation and internal training for new products, features, integrations and/or functionality.

**Skills and qualifications**
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Competent use of Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word & Outlook.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to work independently with minimum support (where necessary).
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders with varying seniority.
- Working IT knowledge: Networking / OS.
- Working knowledge of Access Control systems
- Experience/Practical knowledge within the access control business.
- Working knowledge of card and reader technologies.
- Working knowledge of integrations such as:

- Intruder alarms.
- CCTV.
- Fire Alarm.

**Salary**: £45,000.00 per year
