A new opportunity has arisen for a herdsperson to join a progressive team on our grass-based dairy farm on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast.

This role is based at one of our dairies where we run a 600-cow spring calving herd of crossbreds. Cows are milked twice a day in a 40-point herringbone parlour fitted with ACRs, automatic teat sprayer and drafting gate.

Accommodation is available in very desirable three-bedroom semi-detached cottage which has a large garden and garage and is just a ten-minute walk from Barafundle and Broadhaven beaches. The property is very secluded and located away from the farmyard.

We would love to hear from applicants with the ability and enthusiasm to advance to a lead role at the dairy, supporting the dairy manager to achieve our business goals.

The ideal person will be able to work with and oversee other members of the team, be organised and efficient and have great attention to detail.

Excellent levels of animal husbandry and grass management skills are required and basic tractor skills too.

The job comes with a competitive rate of pay.
