This school is Ofsted rated _**‘Good’ **_and prioritise an engaging learning environment for pupils as well as a positive working environment amongst staff. _**They are seeking someone who can start immediately and commit to Full time, Long term work.**_

- **Pay**: £90 - £100 per day, **PAYE - No hidden Agency/Umbrella company fees**
- **Location**:Lewisham, **Sydenham**
- **Role**:Full time, Long term **(Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:00)**

**Requirements for this role**:

- Transferrable skills, you need to have experience working alongside children and vulnerable adults/young people in a care, residential, school or social (coaching) setting
- You will need to be able to follow instructions from the Class Teacher but also be able to work off of your own initiative
- You will need to be patient and resilient
- You will need to have a natural kind and nurturing nature
- **You will need to have two obtainable references from a relevant childcare field**
- **You will need to have a Clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment - £52**

**Main responsibilities**:

- You will be required to Assist the Class Teacher in supporting a KS2 SEN class made up of 17 students between the ages of 5-7
- You will be asked to support the learners with both their academic development but also their personal development, such as mental, emotional and social skills
- You will be responsible for accompanying learners to their therapy sessions and enrichment activities
- You will be tasked with administrative duties such as assisting the Class Teacher in updating risk assessments for the pupils and reporting any safeguarding issues.
- You will be required to liaise with the Class Teacher, SENCO, Therapists and the Parents/Carers in order to ensure the learners are receiving the necessary support, and to provide feedback and pupil progress
