Forklift Driver

**Kenect recruitment is recruiting for long term jobs with great pay and prospects in Hulland Ward, Ashbourne DE6 3ET.**

If you have production experience and can work in a robust concrete production plant environment this job is for you.

FORK LIFT LICENSE IS NEEDED

Salary**:£11.96-£17.94**

38 hours paid at **£11.96 ** per hour and any hours worked after 38hrs a week will be paid at **£17.94**

Working week is usually 44 hours so overtime premiums are always paid for a full week as well as any Saturday work on offer but not mandatory.

Shift pattern**:Rotational shifts**

**Monday - Friday | 06:15 - 15:00**

**Monday - Thursday | 14:45 - 00:30**

**Role responsibilities**:

- **Report any health and safety issues in line with the company health and safety policy**:

- **Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping keeping areas clean, tidy and hazard free.**:

- **Behave in line with "dont walk by" at all times.**:

- **To work in accordance with all corporate and local policies and procedures.**:

- **Operation of manufacturing plant and equipment safely and efficiently.**:

- **Controlling the quality of the product**:

- **To Understand the requirements of our internal and external customers.**:

- **Work Efficiently in order to meet production targets.**:

- **Be responsible for the manufacturing assets that are entrusted to you i.e Materials, equipment, buildings and stores.**:

- **To react promptly and effectively to breakdowns by liaising with maintenance and assisting where needed**:

- **To inspect carry out and ensure that plant routines are regularly adhered to and that the cleanliness of the plant mechanism, plant area, adjacent buildings and equipment are at all times properly and regularly inspected, cleaned in accordance with site instructions.**:

- **To carry out other reasonable tasks within the scope of your operation and abilities as and when required.**:

- **To work within other areas of the factory and site as required.**
- Must be able to work rotational shift patterns
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- Good organisational skills
- Able to work on own initiative
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to problem solve.
- **Due to the location of the site it is imperative that you have your own means of transport as there is no public transport.**_
