**Job Title**:Textile Production Operative

**Reports To**:Operations Manager

**Direct Reports**:None

**Main Purpose of Role**:
Working as part of a team you will manufacture various high quality marquee PVC material covers and related fabrics/equipment by operating a variety of relevant machines and handheld tools.

In the role you will be expected to complete a wide range of production related tasks working alongside the rest of the production team.

Some examples of tasks include using HF welding machine to bond materials, marking, cutting, eyeleting, using closing and finishing tools, cleaning & packing products.

**Standard Working Hours**:
Monday to Friday - 7-30am until 4pm

Morning break (unpaid) - 10-15am until 10-30am

Lunch break (unpaid) - 13-00pm until 13-30pm

**Key Responsibilities**
- Using a HF welding machine to bond materials, marking and cutting materials, eyeleting, using closing and finishing tools, cleaning & packing completed products.
- Pre-assembly of subcomponents.
- Proactive recycling of ‘waste’ fabrics to make other integral stock items, stock control, packaging, and general machine room duties.
- Checking the quality of your work continuously to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Follow a work plan set out by the shift manager to meet production requirements.
- Daily record keeping of produced items.
- Have the flexibility to work in a variety of production sections as and when required.
- Willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks.
- A positive can-do and proactive attitude.
- The ability to work as part of a team.

We require our team members to have the flexibility to work some weekends and overtime as per the needs of the business in peak season (March to August).

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall vision and objectives of the business.
