About us

Our Ilminster shop is looking for volunteers to join the team. The Ilminster shop has been on East Street for over 30 years and is a vibrant, eclectic shop which has a great music selection. Our shop is a friendly community shop located opposite the Post Office and the Arts centre. We have a lovely team of staff and volunteers and if you would like to get involved by becoming a volunteer please pop in.

About you

Do you have an eye for a bargain, get excited about sustainable fashion or love helping customers discover pre-loved treasures? As a Charity Shop Volunteer you will be one of the store’s friendly faces who will help us to provide the best customer experience.

You will also be helping us to inspire communities to provide more care for more people through innovating and collaborating on ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Full training will be provided, and travel at a reasonable local rate can be reimbursed for shifts of four hours or more, as agreed with the local manager.

How much time does the role take up?

Volunteering is flexible and can be a regular morning or afternoon. You can opt for weekdays, weekends, or as and when you are available.
