The Gateway Academy is the secondary provision within the Gateway Learning Community [GLC] which is a partnership between one secondary and four primary Academies located within Tilbury and Chadwell in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London.

We are looking for an outstanding Lead Practitioner in Computer Science to guide and advise on best practice within the Academy. This role is critical to the Academy’s continuing progress; it is integral to how we will achieve the highest standard of learning and teaching in every classroom.
- have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- have experience of providing professional development to teachers, including coaching, mentoring and training
- have proven experience of positively impacting on student progress and raising attainment and developing excellence
- have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils
