**Responsibilities**:
We are currently looking to appoint 1x Complex Case Recovery Coordinator within our Nottinghamshire Service. The posts will be based in the West Locality (covering Mansfield and Ashfield).

The successful applicant will co-ordinate and lead a proactive, multi-agency, outreach approach to service users with complex health and social needs, with a view to engaging them in appropriate services. Responsibilities involve case co-ordination, comprehensive assessments, recovery planning, risk assessments and risk management planning.

You should have significant experience of working with substance users and an excellent knowledge of the issues relating to substance use, as well as excellent communication and engagement skills, and an ability to work well under pressure in order to deliver high quality services.

The post holder will be required to manage a few generic cases along with a caseload of complex cases. The post holder will also work flexibly across operational sites as required and work flexibly within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision. This may include evening and weekend working.

Essential Qualifications and/or Experience
- Experience of working in the health and social care field with vulnerable people with support needs, including substance misuse and mental health.
- Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues
- A commitment to multi-agency working and establishing partnerships with other professions to achieve good outcomes for the service user group, e.g. mental health services, criminal justice agencies, community groups, etc.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Good level of IT literacy.
- Ability/willingness to work in partnership with a large number of other agencies including the local authority, police and voluntary sector organisations.
- Experience and complete understanding of Safeguarding
- Experience of successful independently managed work.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required including unsociable hours
- Have the capacity and self-confidence to innovate.
- Commitment to delivering service excellence.
- Commitment to personal and professional development.
- Ability to work with challenging individuals and situations.
- Experience of case management.
