Yard Supervisor

**Enfield Speciality Doors is a rapidly expanding friendly flush timber fire door **manufacturer and we are currently looking for a yard supervisor with a attention to detail who values workplace safety, organisation and pride in their work as much as we do.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Being responsible for Health & Safety of the yard.
- Ensure the efficient running of the yard and be responsible for leading and inspiring your team.
- Managing the team and ensuring they are on hand to load and unload vehicles as required, work with production manager or team leaders to ensure material is moved when requested.
- Ensuring proper receipt of goods and ensuring they are logged in and tied up with corresponding purchase orders, checking and recording the moisture content of timber received.
- Ensuring prompt loading and unloading of both company vehicles and supplier vehicles.
- Ensuring all vehicals are loaded with the correct goods before departure from the yard.

**Essential requirements**:

- Previous yard supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to control, delegate and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication with both team members and management.
- Top class organisational and Administration skills.
- Able to create a positive environment within the yard and deliver on the daily requirements.
- Awareness of Health & Safety rules and procedures.
- A counterbalance or side loader Forklift licence and experience is also essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.50-£14.50 per hour
