**Company**:
A well-established business in West Yorkshire, near Cleckheaton, with a national presence and fast paced culture is currently seeking to appoint a Financial Controller to oversee an established finance team in a £25m turnover business. The business is lookingfor an individual who will thrive in their culture and be eager to progress within an organisation.

**The Role**:
They key responsibilities of the positon include:

- Production of month end accounts to tight deadlines
- Managing the finance team of 5
- Preparation and posting of in month journals.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide analysis for variances against expectations and historic data
- Responsible for billing processes
- Assist CFO with ad hoc month end and in month tasks.
- Assistance with review of balance sheet reconciliation and journals
- Drive improvements & efficiencies in processes across the department

**The Person**:

- Qualified Accountant
- A track record of delivering accurate work on time and in a fast pace environment.
- Able to demonstrate team building skills and being a team player
- Good verbal and written communicator at all levels and in varying situations
- Thorough understanding of Financial Systems
- Accounting controls and procedures and statutory regulations.
- Attention to detail
- Highly proficient with Excel and Sage
- Able to work under pressure and deliver results to a defined deadline
- Experience of managing a team is essential
