This is an established role within the Company, working closely with the Hire Team involved with the distribution of cabins, portable accommodation, portable toilets and utility vehicles to commercial sites and events throughout the country.

You will be required to drive and operate several different HGV vehicles, including a distribution truck (HIAB Crane), a 3,000 gallon tanker and a 7.5 tonne toilet services vehicle. However, the primary function is driving the HIAB Crane, therefore previous experience is required (minimum 3 years).

The role is permanent with an immediate start.

Objective

You will primerily work within the Yorkshire and Humberside region but also service our clients at major music and sporting events throughout the country over the Summer season.

You will report directly to our Regional Manager at our Leeds Depot but will be accountable for your own tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Duties
- Load, deliver and site units as described above
- When delivering, act as a point of contact with client on event site
- Liaise with client with regard to actual location of units
- At the end of an event, revisit the location to load units and return to depot, or move to another location
- Communication with Regional Manager and other site staff regarding progress of works
- Co-ordinate work load with deliveries from other transport companies
- Emptying effluent tanks with our large tanker
- Delivery and collection of toilets to construction and event sites
- Any other work around the Depot as required by the Regional Manager or Works Foreman (may include painting cabins and general yard/labour work)

Person Specification
- Good driving skills and knowledge of UK driving legislation
- Driver CPC Certification and Digi Card
- UK C+E (Class 1) Driving License or European equivalent
- Crane wagon experience (3 years) - Must be licensed to use HIAB. Ideally experienced in the movement of cabins and accommodation units.
- Must be able to work within agreed and strict time-frames
- Good communication skills with the ability to discuss issues with Hire Supervisor and other site and company personnel
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Availability for periods away from base (including some overnight, weekend and bank holiday shifts)

All full time drivers will have a driver assessment in line with our policies and procedures prior to commencing work.

22 days holiday, plus statutory holiday, per annum.

The hourly week is 42.5 hours per week. Any authorised overtime will be paid at the rate of time and a half of basic hourly salary.

Overnight allowances are also paid.

**Salary**: £12.50-£14.50 per hour
