**Role: Waking Night **Children’s Care Worker**

**Salary**: **£10.50 - £11.25 per hour**

**Location: Kirkby Lonsdale and surrounds, Cumbria**

Options Autism are recruiting Waking Night Children’s Care Workers to join our teams within the Cumbria region. Our school provides specialist education and care for children & young people with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. Each of our schools is within commutable distance from Lancaster, Penrith, Settle and other surrounding towns and villages.

**The Role**

As a Waking Night Children’s Care Worker, you will work directly with vulnerable children with SEMH and complex needs. Nightly tasks involve running night time routines, providing them with the care and support the children need to be happy and healthy. You will work with our multi-disciplinary team to contribute to individual Quality of Life Plans and provide a balanced programme of personal development focusing on social skills enabling the young people to achieve their full potential. You will also be responsible for completing relevant paperwork, undertaking household tasks, personal care and where appropriate, administering medication.
