Trainee Underwriter

We are currently recruiting for 2 new vacancies
- Assess and evaluate potential policyholders' financial status, credit history, and other relevant information
- Conduct research and gather data to support underwriting decisions
- Collaborate with underwriters and senior team members to learn about industry best practices and guidelines
- Assist in preparing quotes, policies, and endorsements for clients
- Maintain accurate records of underwriting activities and documentation

**Qualifications**
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex information
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

This is a Monday 8:30am to 5pm office-based role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,453.09-£25,000.00 per year
