A Midlands based local Authority are looking for a full time Payroll Assistant with experience to join their team. You will provide Payroll assistance across the county of Warwick. This will include, logging customer requests through their automated calllogging system and supporting customers with their queries as well as undertaking a range of clerical duties to support the Payroll Team.
You must be able to:
" log all customer requests ensuring they are processed
" follow scripted procedures and guides
" accurately record information
" accurately carry out basic payroll related calculations
" prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
" be responsible for a varied workload
" use initiative and escalate work concerns in a proactive and timely manner.
" demonstrate a positive attitude and professional customer service to all customers and members of the team.
You should have excellent customer service and communication skills in order to deal with the variety of Payroll duties assigned to you. Excellent IT skills and having some knowledge of Payroll systems would be an advantage although training will be provided,and you must be proficient in Microsoft Office e.g. word and excel.

Monday: 09:00 - 17:00 (36 minute lunch)
Tuesday: 09:00 - 17:00 (36 minute lunch)
Wednesday: 09:00 - 17:00 (36 minute lunch)
Thursday: 09:00 - 17:00 (36 minute lunch)
Friday: 09:00 - 17:00 (36 minute lunch)
This position is hybrid, and the offices are based in central Warwick so you will need to be able to pick up your equipment from there and work up to 2 x days per week on site
