We have a fantastic opportunity for an **Early Years Educator** to join our team at **Storkway Nursery** in **Greenwich**. Rated**Good**by Ofsted and **9.1** on Day Nurseries.

We are looking for a skilled early years educator who will offer our children high quality inclusive early years education and care.

Storkway Nursery is based in Kidbrooke, Greenwich. The nursery is part of Storkway Children’s Centre situated just off Rochester Way with the entrance on Ridgebrooke Road. Kidbrooke is an up and coming area with various development projects taking place.The setting is registered for 46 places and current occupancy is at 67%. Storkway is made up of two rooms, one for children under 2 and the other for children between 2 - 5 years.

We have several transport links for the nursery. Kidbrooke Overground Station is a short walk away. Several buses stop within minutes of the nursery, including the 122, 132 and 286. North Greenwich Underground Station is also a short bus ride away (132).There is no off road parking but there is street parking.

We are looking for friendly, innovative, and enthusiastic individuals to join our staff team at Storkway Nursery. We provide care and education for children from 6 months to 5 years. Our aim is to support our children to become independent, confident, adaptable,sociable, and curious individuals. We use a caring, encouraging, and supportive approach to inspire our children to take part in critical thinking, exploring new activities and experiences. **Job purpose**:
As Early Years Educator, you will:

- provide creative and engaging learning opportunities for children.
- be a proactive member of the team, providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- support the nursery management team to deliver high-quality care and education in line with the setting’s policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:
Successful applicants for the Early Years Educator position will need:

- a minimum Level 2 or above Early Years Education and Childcare Qualification or equivalent.
- proven post-qualification experience of working with children.

Also, you will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, if your current certificate is not subscribed to the update service.
