Factory Assistants

Job Summary:
**Our Lancing based engineering client has an immediate requirement for two General Hands/Labourers to assist the fabricators on the shop floor. The role could involve lifting, cutting, loading or minding and it is important that the person is physically fit. This is a great opportunity to learn to use some of the fabrication machinery and progress within the company.**

Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial as would machine operation and metal working experience. A UK driving licence could also prove useful.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing setting is essential
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Practical and good with hand tools.
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks and learn how to use machinery
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
