**Customer Service Assistant (Betting) - PAID TRAINING**

This role with Britbet is a customer service based role, which involves placing bets on behalf of customers and in turn paying out winning ticket/s at the Nottingham Greyhound Stadium. You'll be expected to serve guests at their tables in the lounge area of the Stadium, pro-actively speaking to them to ensure their bets are placed with you in good time. This requires the use of a touchscreen terminal (tablet) to navigate around the different races and bet types.

We will require team members to work only on Friday evenings 17:45-21:45.

**Role duties;**
- To use the betting terminals to take bets from customers
- Pay out guests who supply winning ticket/s
- Provide excellent customer service to racegoers
- Handle cash and cash up at the end of each race day
- Explain effectively, different bet types to customers (training provided)

**Skills / Attributes;**
- Good customer service experience
- Good mental arithmetic
- No prior knowledge of racing or betting needed
- Ability to deal with cash efficiently and total up at the end of each race day
- Confident relaying information to guests around bets and races after training
- Enthusiastic

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 4 per week

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.60 per hour
