We are excited to share a brand new, exciting opportunity which has become available to join the team at Carnoustie Golf Links, as an **Apprentice Mechanic** at our prestigious golf course. No experience is required, as full training will be given.

The role will include assisting our trained mechanics with the following duties:

- Working to maintenance programs for all machinery in the golf course maintenance operation set by the Head of Maintenance & Estates
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance of all golf equipment, keeping all equipment operable and ready for use
- Carrying out metal fabrication work on and off the golf courses as requested by Links Superintendent and Head of Maintenance & Estates.
- Assisting with mechanical problems in other departments.

By the end of your apprenticeship you will obtain a formal qualification in mechanics, which will be confirmed upon the formalisation with our partners in the education sector. Alongside a formal qualification, the successful applicant will gain invaluable experience working with qualified mechanics, enhancing our world-renowned golf course.
