Yard Operative

**Main purpose of Job**

Carry out the day to day operation of the depot ensuring that all activities are carried out safely and as efficiently as possible.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Assisting other Yard Operatives
- Keeping the site safe and tidy
- Working in depot process plants
- General duties at the depot that will include a degree of manual handling

**Person Specification**
- Competence to operate Mobile Plant is preferred, but not essential
- A reliable and flexible attitude is a must
- Able to work as part of the team and alone

**Working hours / times**: 49.5 hours per week Monday - Saturday plus will be paid 5.5 hours for breaks.

Salary dependant on experience and aptitude.
