We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Multi-Disciplinary team to deliver a person-centred therapy service to adults with physical deficits following an acquired brain injury or from a cerebrovascularaccident. We are seeking a dynamic therapist to join our developing team of existing Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech & Language Therapist, Psychologist and Nurses at All Hallows, Suffolk. All Hallows is part of the Oakleaf Group, a leadingprovider of specialist brain injury inpatient rehabilitation services.

All Hallows Specialist Neurological Rehabilitation Centre supports men and women with complex healthcare needs having experienced a brain injury, stroke or other neurological event. The services provided at All Hallows comprise: Active / Complex Rehabilitation,High Dependency & Specialist Nursing Care, Progressive Neurological Conditions and Community Rehabilitation.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Multi-professional Therapy Team. You would be part of a large, dynamic and supportive team that includes Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology and Nursing.

The successful applicant should have a desire to develop their knowledge and skills in the field of brain injury rehabilitation. The role would ideally suit a Physiotherapist, who has completed a rotational post, or someone who is seeking to specialise inneuro rehabilitation and would like to develop their clinical skills further in this specialist field. HCPC registration is essential. Experience of working with people with neurological conditions is essential. Previous experience of specific brain injuryrehabilitation is desirable.

The post holder will be expected to manage a caseload of clients with brain injury and in conjunction with other members of the multi professional Therapy Team, form comprehensive assessment of need and develop goal focused Physiotherapy rehabilitation interventionplans. The post holder will be expected to provide direct physiotherapy intervention, as well as advise on issues related to physiotherapy, such as manual handling, falls management, spasticity management, respiratory care etc.

The Oakleaf Group expect all staff to participate in continual professional development. Regular supervision is provided and in-service and external training are available. Opportunities for the development of leadership skills are also available, such asthe mentoring of assistant staff.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to develop their skills within a conscientious, hard working and supportive team, allowing creativity within their work. The role requires the hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pmWeekendand Bank holiday working is not required.
