This fantastic independent practice is seeking an enthusiastic new graduate in small or mixed animal veterinary surgeon to join their amazing team.

This client offers a supportive, encouraging work environment and prides themselves on top quality, modern medicine and surgery, in the heart of North East England, close to excellent transport links, city centres, countryside’s and the coast.

This exciting role in a practice that has been successful for over a hundred years and offers excellent benefits including accommodation if needed and:

- Starting salary - 4 days 34,500K, 5 days 39K
- Minimum of 6 weeks annual paid leave
- Birthday given off (on successful completion of 6-month probationary review)
- Profit sharing scheme (on successful completion of 6-month probationary review)
- 12-month review, resulting in salary increase
- Annual salary reviews thereafter
- No sole charge on call work
- Professional RCVS and VDS membership paid
- VISA sponsorship and funding (commitment to at least 2 years required)

The role requires:

- Must be able to drive in the UK
- 85% small, 10% equine, 5% farm mix or small animal only
- One night on call per week (with support by another vet)
- 1 full weekend on call in every 6 (for every full weekend worked, no night on call the following week and a Friday or Monday off to make a long weekend)
- 1 Saturday morning in 3 (one of these will be part of the full weekend on call every 6)
- Bank holiday cover equally shared
